Sociology - Undergraduate Research

Sociology majors have and continue to engage in undergraduate research in areas that are of interest to both the sociology faculty and the students. Recent undergraduate sociology research projects have investigated the social benefits of altruism, social factors that influence African American student athletes, gender blind intersectionality, and sexual identity development among college students and the relationship between the built environment and quality of life. Students who are interested in engaging in research should see Dr. Suzanne Stoelting and register for SOC 40000: Undergraduate Research (3 credits).
