Lindenwood University’s Wellness Program: LINDENWELL
What is LindenWell?
LindenWell is a FREE and voluntary employee health and wellness program offered to ALL university employees. Its purpose is to promote a healthy lifestyle, increase wellness awareness, and build camaraderie among colleagues. LindenWell hosts a variety of wellness challenges and events throughout the year that include guest speakers, luncheons, and appreciation banquets to celebrate your success! LindenWell is utilized to reward healthy behaviors through incentivizing medical insurance premiums. Employees who participate in LindenWell activities earn points towards their insurance premium for the following calendar year. ALL communication comes directly from the LindenWell team.
Who is eligible to participate?
ALL Lindenwood University employees! That’s right! Any and all staff, faculty, and adjunct employees are welcome and encouraged to participate!
Participation is especially encouraged for those enrolled in the medical insurance plan!
What are the incentives of participating?
Glad you asked! Participants earn Wellbucks for completing LindenWell challenges and participating in sponsored events!
Wellbucks are redeemable for a variety of goodies in the LindenWell Wellbuck Catalogue, which is updated with new items each year:
Participants enrolled in the medical insurance plan will also earn points in addition to wellbucks for each completed challenge.
How can I participate?
All participation information is communicated via LindenWell email and is posted on the LindenWell website!
Not currently receiving LindenWell emails? No problem! All you have to do is send an email request to Mariah Gove to be added: Mgove@Lindenwood.edu LindenWell hosts countless participation opportunities throughout the year. Some of these awesome opportunities include LindenWell monthly challenges, Student Personal Training Program, campus sponsored exercise classes, attending guest speaker events, and pop-up wellness activities.
