The Lindenwood Learning Academy’s mission is to provide for the professional and personal success and wellness of Lindenwood employees from the time of application through retirement. In keeping with this mission, the Learning Academy partners with LindenWell to offer resources dedicated to wellness of the whole person to include, emotional, environmental, intellectual, occupational, physical, social, and spiritual wellness. Wellness is the active approach towards achieving optimal well-being. This process strives to improve an individual’s potential by becoming aware and making choices toward a healthy and fulfilling life. It is not just about being free from illness, but it is a continuous and dynamic process of change and growth. Maintaining wellness is crucial in reaching a higher quality of life, specifically by subduing stress, reducing the risk of illness, and ensuring positive interactions.

Supporting your well-being in times of change and uncertainty are of the utmost concern in recent days. To help you through this time of uncertainty, consider completing the curated learning path within LinkedIn Learning that will help you build resiliency, cultivate mental agility, embrace unexpected change, recharge with mindfulness practices, and much more. Additionally, Employee Fellow, Elizabeth Snell, created a meditation hotline exclusively for Lindenwood employees; dial extension 4111 from your campus phone to participate in a brief guided meditation.
