Safety Escorts
Public Safety Officers are available to provide walking safety escort service to and from any location on the Lindenwood St. Charles campus. Please be patient when calling as officers may be busy handling other calls.
Flat Tires
Public Safety Officers will assist you in locating a local service provider that will assist you in changing the flat tire.
Jump Starts
Public Safety Officers will assist stranded motorists on the Lindenwood St. Charles campus. In most instances, officers will provide a jumpstart for vehicles that do not start. If the officers are not able to get the vehicle started, they will assist the motorist in helping locate a local service provider that will help them.
Keys Locked in Your Vehicle
If you lock your keys in your vehicle, public safety officers will assist you in locating a local service provider that will assist you in getting your keys out of your vehicle.
Locked Out - Residence Halls
If you are locked out of your room, please contact the Resident Director on duty. Public Safety Officers will respond after you contact the Resident Director if they’re not available.
Patrol
Public Safety Officers patrol the University 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Officers operate fully marked vehicles identified as Lindenwood University Public Safety & Security. Security currently uses four Ford Escapes and two bicycles for patrol.
Safety Presentations
Officers will be available to students, faculty, and staff for crime prevention presentations as well as for providing information on crime prevention or campus safety.

Lindenwood University is committed to assisting all members of the community in providing for their own safety and security. The annual security and fire safety report for the St. Charles campus is available on the Lindenwood University Office of Public Safety and Security website.
If you would like to receive a hard copy of the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report which contains this information, you can stop by the Office of Public Safety & Security located at 1905 First Capitol, Suite A, Saint Charles, MO 63301, or you can request that a copy be mailed to you by calling (636) 949-4687.
The report contains information regarding campus security and personal safety including topics such as: crime prevention, public safety authority, crime reporting policies, fire safety, disciplinary procedures and other matters of importance related to security on campus. The report also contains information about fire statistics in Lindenwood Residential Facilities and crime statistics for the three previous calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by Lindenwood; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus.
This information is required by law and is provided by Office of Public Safety and Security.
