Psychology Program Scientific Review Committee (PPSRC)

Psychology Program Scientific Review Committee (PPSRC)

College of Science, Technology, and Health NAVIGATION

Voluntary faculty members from the department of psychology who have completed the online IRB training by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and obtained certification to serve on the PPSRC. The current members are: Dr. Sara Bagley, Dr. Colleen Biri, Dr. Rebecca Foushée, and Dr. Michiko Nohara-LeClair. One member of the PPSRC reviews each exempt and expedited application, and two PPSRC reviewers evaluate all full applications sequentially.  The PPSRC does not review amendment applications.

All applications prepared by psychology students that get submitted to the Lindenwood IRB must have obtained approval from the PPSRC. The PPSRC was established in the fall of 2013 by members of the Lindenwood University psychology department. The PPSRC is a pre-IRB review committee that reviews all IRB applications submitted by students affiliated with the psychology program prior to the applicant submitting the paperwork to the Lindenwood IRB. The purpose of the PPSRC is to help provide prompt and helpful feedback to students as they prepare to submit an IRB application for review by the Lindenwood IRB.
