Academics NAVIGATION

Tutoring is available to Lindenwood University students seeking to enhance their academic performance.

On-campus tutors are available to meet with students both in-person and in a virtual environment. Online Tutoring Services are available through Canvas at any time. Please see additional information below regarding both On-Campus and Online Tutoring Services. Students needing additional academic support should contact sass@lindenwood.edu.

Tutoring is a service that assists students in becoming independent learners by reviewing academic techniques such as exam preparation, note taking, analysis of classroom and text materials, and helps students apply these techniques toward coursework. SASS offers these services to students in Suite 346 of the Library & Academic Resources Center (LARC). Several academic departments across campus also offer tutoring services. Please find the current schedule(s) of available tutors below.

On-Campus Tutoring

On-Campus Tutoring is now available. On-campus tutors are available to meet with students both in-person and in a virtual environment. All virtual meetings will be held through Microsoft Teams. Students should use the scheduling system to make appointments.

Please note these times may change during the week of Final Exams. Refer to the appointment schedule for accurate availability. The video below is a brief tutorial explaining how to navigate our online scheduling software and how to make an appointment with a tutor.

Appointments can be made with tutors located in the SASS Suite. SASS tutors are available to assist undergraduate students across a number of disciplines. Graduate students or those needing help with specific courses not listed on the tutor schedule are encouraged to use online tutoring or to work through individual professors or their dean's office for tutoring support.
