The Sophomore Year Experience Program is dedicated to help students transition from the first year to second by providing programs that support academic and personal growth for students as they continue their education journey at Lindenwood University. The program will provide many events throughout the year to help engage students not only in the classroom, but also as they go out into the community. We are committed to making your second year an adventure full of useful information and fun.
The Lindenwood University Sophomore Council exists to provide second-year students a voice in enhancing the sophomore-year experience. The council strives to plan, organize, and provide sophomore programs that will enrich the second-year experience and create a sense of community among sophomore students.
Watch for council members on campus, easily recognized by their Street Team shirts, who are promoting sophomore activities. Upcoming events include a candy giveaway on Halloween and Backpack to Briefcase.
Each month, the Sophomore’s are Major Newsletter will be distributed to all sophomore students. Each newsletter is full of useful information to help guide students through their second year. This information is aimed to assist with current studies and help prepare for future academic and professional decisions. We encourage students to read through each newsletter and consider the information provided.
