Hammond Institute Scholarships

The Duree Center for Entrepreneurship has received an allocation of two full scholarships from the Hammond Institute for Free Enterprise for use during the summer camp, Innovation Experience.  Students will compose a 250-500 word essay covering one or more of the following topics:

  1. Describe your interest in entrepreneurship and how attending this summer camp aligns with your aspirations.
  2. Share a personal or academic experience that inspired your passion for entrepreneurship.
  3. How do you envision utilizing the skills and knowledge gained from this camp in your future endeavors?
  4. Discuss a specific business idea or project you hope to develop further through the camp's guidance.
  5. Share challenges you foresee in pursuing entrepreneurship and how this camp might help you overcome them.
  6. Reflect on any past experiences where your creativity or problem-solving skills were crucial, relating it to entrepreneurship.

Please submit completed entries to Dr. Julie Turner (jturner@lindenwood.edu) by May 1, 2024 for consideration.  Submissions will be evaluated by members of the Hammond Institute council.
