Jazz and Contemporary Music Minor

Earning a Minor in Jazz and Contemporary Music at Lindenwood University

Lindenwood University offers a minor in jazz and contemporary music, which requires 21-31 credit hours of coursework. 

  • Bachelor of Arts Music majors - 24 credit hours
  • Bachelor of Arts Music Business and Entrepreneurship majors - 21 credit hours
  • Bachelor of Arts Music Performance majors - 31 credit hours

A minor is simply a secondary academic subject to add to your knowledge, whether it is of professional or personal interest. When you add a music minor to your curriculum, you will study music production, history and analysis of jazz and contemporary music, music business, jazz keyboard techniques, and take private lessons. All minors in jazz and contemporary music will require a senior recital.
