Earning a Minor in Asian Studies at Lindenwood University

Lindenwood University offers a minor in Asian Studies which requires 21 credit hours of coursework. A minor is simply a secondary academic subject to add to your knowledge, whether it is of professional or personal interest.

Asian Studies includes the study of the Chinese language, an introduction to Chinese culture and etiquette, and courses relating China’s rich history and civilization. Students majoring in international relations, history, and business will find the course offerings beneficial to their understanding of the global community.

Topics include elementary and intermediate Mandarin, Chinese culture and etiquette, contemporary China, and history of Asia.
