Course Description

We’ve been trying to put into words what we experience in our travels as long as we’ve been traveling. Travel can spur the creative impulse by immersing us in the unfamiliar, the exotic, the momentary, the beautiful, the tragic, as well as redefine what home means to each of us. In this course, we’ll take a look at multiple examples of travel writing, both prose and poetry, and produce original work based on your own travels and experiences away from home.
