Earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Stage Management at Lindenwood University
The BFA in stage management prepares you for a career in theatre, dance, and opera through a progression of theatrical coursework and practical stage management experiences combined with professional mentorships outside of the university.
If the on-stage life isn’t your style but you still love the theatre, a BFA in stage management includes courses covering technical theatre, directing, lighting design, sound design, and stagecraft. The degree requires 83 credit hours and working on several productions and rehearsals.
An audition and/or interview is required for admission into the Lindenwood Bachelor of Fine Arts theatre programs. If you wish to pursue a BFA program and do not or cannot audition and interview prior to enrollment, you will only be allowed to declare a Bachelor of Arts in theatre major.
