Earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre at Lindenwood University
The BA in Theatre is a comprehensive program designed to fully immerse you in all aspects of theatre through exploration of performance, technical theatre, design, and directing with the flexibility to tailor the degree towards your interests and career goals. Our facilities are second to none, ranging from a Broadway-style 1,200-seat auditorium to a versatile and intimate black box theater.
If you choose to pursue a BA in theatre, you will study acting, script analysis, stage movement, voice, and many more topics, including experience in rehearsals and productions throughout the year totaling 56 credit hours.
An audition and/or interview is required for admission into the Lindenwood Bachelor of Fine Arts theatre programs. If you wish to pursue a BFA program and do not or cannot audition and interview prior to enrollment, you will only be allowed to declare a Bachelor of Arts in theatre major. You must complete an audition and interview and be accepted into the BFA program. The BA in theatre program does not require an audition and interview.
