Celebrating and Thankful for Our STL EntrepreneursThe month of November is the time of year we celebrate Thanksgiving, a time for reflection and gratitude. This year is rather a different year than most. With a pandemic upon us, we give special thanks for what we have this year, not necessarily for what we especially want.

As a nation, November is also the month we celebrate entrepreneurship! A time to realize the sacrifices and the courage many or our entrepreneurs take in growing their innovative companies, solving problems, and contributing to their communities by hiring employees and adding jobs to our economy. Not an easy task... particularly in 2020.

In St. Louis, we just celebrated the successes of 2020 and provided a way to learn about the resources available for powering and growing startups. STL Startup Week ran Nov. 9th -13th (virtually performed for the first time due to the social distancing restrictions). It was a way to engage and connect with the thousands of people from the St. Louis startup community at this celebration of all things entrepreneurial and uniquely St. Louis! ITEN was excited to be part of the resource fair and to take part in providing a session on our newest program recently launched, the Eureka Experience, that helps guide our entrepreneurs from idea to product/market fit!

We will continue to highlight and celebrate our ITEN companies and their founders in the coming month of December at our 2nd Thursday event at Venture Cafe’, so make sure to catch us there! More details to come soon!

We would like to thank ALL of our entrepreneurs for their continued hard work and dedication in making St. Louis one of the best places to stand up a startup! Check out the Tech Tribune’s 2021’s Best Tech Startups in St. Louis. We know these are challenging times for everyone. The good news is STL is a community that wants to stand together and help one another make it through. It’s inspiring to see how some of our ITEN companies have managed to navigate and/or pivot through the pandemic.

The ITEN Team wishes everyone a very Happy & Healthy Thanksgiving, and remember to thank an entrepreneur next time you see one!
